CHAIRMAN OF THE EDITORIAL ADVISORY BOARD
On behalf of the Editorial Advisory Board, we are pleased that you are considering nominating one or more of your credit union colleagues for the 2008 inaugural edition of Who’s Who in America’s Credit Unions - the first and only comprehensive recognition program on a nationwide basis for those whose contributions have made the American credit union movement what it is today.
Each year, Who’s Who in America’s Credit Unions will annually recognize and honor leadership, accomplishment and service in the professional, volunteer and service ranks of America’s credit unions. The nomination and selection criteria are explained on this website.
Our Editorial Advisory Board, a Who’s Who of the credit union movement itself, is committed to the mission statement of “Honoring Credit Union Leadership, Accomplishment and Service.”
We will evaluate and validate the thousands of nominations that will come from those of you who are involved in the credit union movement on a daily basis. From those nominations, those who meet the induction criteria will indeed be the best of the American credit union movement – both today and over past years of service.
Volunteers, directors, CEOs, managers, league officers, trade association officials…the list goes on and on of those who have built this great movement. There have even been true credit union believers among suppliers of credit union services that have been nominated and met the induction criteria.
Some of the inductees will be actively involved in credit unions on a day to day basis, while others will have retired. The common bond is each individual’s heartfelt dedication to the credit union movement and tireless efforts on its behalf.
Our Editorial Advisory Board needs the best in credit union leadership to be nominated.
We sincerely encourage you to give us some work to do. Nominate those who are worthy of consideration for induction in Who’s Who in America’s Credit Unions. We already have thousands of nominees and hope to have thousands more to consider.
There is no purchase necessary for either a nominee or an inductee to Who’s Who in America’s Credit Unions.
And there is no limit to the number of nominees you can submit.
So, check out the nomination and selection criteria you will find on this website. Then feel free to nominate one or as many as you feel are deserving.
What will happen then?
Each nominee will receive a nomination letter indicating that you were his or her nominator. In addition, each will receive a biographical submission form to complete and return to us. This form will give the Who’s Who staff and our Editorial Advisory Board the information we need to determine this year’s class of inductees.
